It just figures....
I plan my vacation back in the spring and the first day of a camping/fishing vacation is going to be REALLY crappy.
I had planned on camp / fishing starting Saturday at the Scusset Beach State Park. Now I have to think about dealing with a major storm on my first day/night, with the potential of screwed up fishing for the remainder of my time there. I'm staying Sat until Wed (at least I'm considering it). I'm dealing with bad knees, and the prospect of hauling my butt up and down the jetty sounds less and less inviting if I have to deal with a tropical storm churning up the water. I'm thinking of canceling my reservation and just staying home. Maybe I'll do some kayaking instead. |
I feel your pain FT, i'm in the same boat. :(
Usually early Sept is a pretty good time to plan weather wise, but- "The best laid plans of mice and men go oft astray." :) |
been good fishing there tim. Choppers all over though

Canals not a bad place to be in nasty weather, especially this time of year. Don't be too discouraged.
