MPEG-DVD How do I burn MPEG videos that I have in my pc onto DVD so I can watch them on my tv? Do they have to be converted 1st? If so, How? |

Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere is standard for this but they are expensive apps. ...Although they make free converters that you can download. if its a AVI file, google AVI to MPEG converter. Most have multiple options. If you still have trouble let me know. |

Google dvd flick and enjoy. |

The videos are MPEG format. When I put them on DVD, my DVD player won't recognize them. |

Did you go and download and install the software? |

DVD's for tv are NTSC US format. I have a dvd player that can play mpeg, avi, ntsc formats . For pc's you need to get and download the correct CODEC for the player then you should be fine. there a plenty of mpeg codecs out there. I thought Media Player had one in its CODEC pack |

Sounds like dvdflick will do what fishaholic wants (to burn a DVD playable on any player). One thing to note is that if it's an ancient DVD player, it won't be able to read DVD+R's. Use DVD-R for best compatibility... |
