I may be interested. Would it include tansportation on island?

rickhern 09-22-2008 07:54 AM

Hey Paul, probably not on the transportation. Looks like my van will be full, but I will know more in a day or so.

Paul, Round trip ferry is about $150. You don't need 4 wheel drive to fish the island.

Trying to convince the wife to let me go. I feel too sick to work.

rickhern 09-22-2008 09:31 AM

Bring her with you. Looks like I may have room till the end of the week.

tynan19 09-22-2008 10:34 AM

Wish I could. Someone would have to watch the boys.

Room for 1 more Jim. Tynan is leaving when you arrive.

PaulS 09-24-2008 09:48 AM

I'm in. I'll split all costs of ferry, Gas etc. A few questions. What is the sleeping situation - should I bring sheets (what size?). For food are we just eating out/fast food, etc - which is fine.

Tynan, are you bringing a truck and will it you have a beach pass? What ferry are you thinking of taking over?

Thanks
Paul

rickhern 09-24-2008 11:43 AM

Hey Paul,

Glad you can make it. There is no fast food on the island. Will be bringing plenty of burgers/dogs/sausages/etc. The house sleeps 7 on mostly twin beds. Bring a full size sheet and a couple of blankets and you will be all set.

If you guys want me to bring eels for you, let me know as I can buy in bulk and save a few bucks.

tynan19 09-24-2008 01:15 PM

I will take a dozen.

PaulS 09-24-2008 01:34 PM

you can get me a dozen also.

Out of curiosity, how much do you pay for eels in America? :as:

rickhern 09-24-2008 09:21 PM

About $1 to $1.25 ea(I buy by the pound). What are you paying over there?
