Waders- Sizing Question
 

I really can't think of a way that won't make this question seem inappropriate, so I will just come out and ask...

When you guys wear waders, do you typically wear pants underneath or just skivies??

The reason I am asking is because I came across a pair onsale that fit well, but there is no way I can possibly put them on with jeans or anything else than long underwear.

I wear jean or shorts underneath, but you can probably gat a pair of longjohn bottoms that won't be as bulky but will help keep you warm

I always laugh when guys talk about wearing jeans under their waders. I can't imagine doing that. For me it's a bathing suit or mesh shorts in the summer and breathable long johns in the colder months.

in the colder months i wear under amour cold gear. I strongly reccomend it. I wouldnt wear jeans personally.

Sweat pants work well for me in colder weather

Sweats or shorts - keep in mind with Shorts you have the problem of the seam where the waders join the boot (or stocking foot) rubbing and irritating your skin. So where high calf socks.

No matter what, don't go Commando when going commando

I use the rivertec wading pants from Simms in the spring and fall nice stuff

Shorts or something similar when it's warm. Fleece long underwear when it's cold and tights when it's inbetween. Only wear breathables.

I just wear pants, usually blue jeans, or shorts in warm weather. Whats the big deal with wearing pants

Too much bunching w/ jeans.

I wear warm-up style pants this time of year, and will add long-johns when needed...

Thong. I don't want any VPL's when I bend down to pick up my catch.

Sweats or long johns. Rarely wear waders in the warmer months.
