Dux Bay...no peanut bunker??
 

Golf season is over.
Fishing has started for me.

Have been over to Duxbury Bay and beach everyday for a a couple weeks. Haven't seen any peanut bunker. The last three years the bay has been loaded with it the end of August and September.
Just a few fish passing the beach offshore...
Weird? Or normal? Thoughts?

Maybe too warm still.:huh: Friend who lives near white cliffs has not seem them in that area either yet. I fished the canal last nite for a few hours after work and couldn't believe how warm the water still is and it was flowing out of CC Bay.

peanuts are pretty slim compared to the past few years on the north shore...

I was fishing with Tim Lynch ,retired marine biologist at DEM/RI,a coupla days ago and he said it was not a good spawn this year for bunker,but...they netted a ton of anchovies in the tows this year.
