The following threat was found on craigs list.

Oh yeah....and don't reply to it with threats of your own.

This thing reminds me of the crazy woman down the street who would call the cops on us for skateboarding down the street when I was 12. We told her she was nuts and her son threatened to put us in the hospital for harassing his mother. :conf:

Crazy stuff going on down there. Amazing all the crap one nutty old woman can cause. She needs 24 hours jail time for disturbing the peace. :smash:

Sadly, without verifying the WHO dunnit it could easily be a prank or attention getter, setup, yadayadayada. Now, should a brick grow wings on the other hand...

It's kind of like the idiot at the back of a crowd yelling "hit 'em"
or the one that throws the first bottle, rock etc from the safety of his/her position away from the victim. You know, like the idiots that will toss trash at police (ie: Sox/Patss/Celts victory hooligans) and run like little girls when confronted.
I'd say this clown needs to grow a pair and get out and see beyond their computer/sofa.

I went to Barrington Police stations with a copy of this threat. The duty officier asked for my license and telephone number. It will then be forwarded to the detective for disposition.
This may require just a little pressure from you all to call the BPD and express your concern of this threat. This may turn the tables regarding the Daunis ROW at Nayatt Pt or instead stay behind your keyboards and complain about the shore access getting lost. :)

All of you ignorant fisherman should go and retire someplace warm.. If you only knew the history of the area you would shut the hell up and go fish. this area was private property until a couple of jackass jerks started %$%$%$%$.. I would likr the addresses of these fishing jerks.. someone please help me with those addresses .. when I get them I will retaliate so bad they will never go to that spot again... If i ever find out that you are messing with the homeowner I will make your fishing very miserable.. Don't try me.. also i would like to say go back to your own town and start %$%$%$%$.. p.s. watch out for the bricks with wings..

Hey guys I am the caretaker (and one of the jackass jerks ;) )of this spot....it was RISAA's first adopt-an-access. Like TDF said dont respond to them.....they are only helping us with this stuff.

I too sent this to the town council, town manager and the police chief....here was the chief's response.

I will have Det. Joe Andreozzi look into this, however please know that threats posted on the internet, and in this case NOT to any individual in particular, can not be prosecuted. Even if a threat is posted on a free website to an "individual" the AG has ruled that it may not fall under the Disorderly Conduct statute.

I have this guys name and address if you should get threatened or vandilized.
