Depression Digression!
 

I decided to use the good old fashioned depression cure all.......some afternoon topwater tossin'!:kewl: I have not been doing much....concentrating on mostly darkness forays! Anyway....hit a favorite spot, caught a few dinks on 1 oz. pencils until the water started moving just right then I bumped up to the 2.5 oz. for distance and size......had this nice 32 inch/15 pounder smash the plug! It ain't huge by any means but after the 2 weeks I have had fishing wise.....it put a bend in my rod and a smile on my face! One for the table this weekend!:drool: Just nice to know it ain't over yet....and not even close!!:fishin:

I just washed the skunk off two nights ago. First keeper since the beginning of July and 6 fish in 8 casts.

It's those good trips that inject the enthusiasm back in.

Went out tonight to test the theory that it may be time to put away the S-B gear and focus on Tog. By my reconing it ain't over by a long shot. 43", 32lbs....and the beauty of it all was it was caught on a Hab's Jr. Needlefish I picked up at the tournament.
