South West had flights to Long Island, $49.00 each way. Hummmm...

Wendy, just hope you realize, you've got a 60+ mile drive from Islip airport out to Montauk. The ferry from New London is less than $35 for the car and driver and puts you about 20 miles away, and in the middle of some good surf fishing in its own right at Orient Point :)
