Welcome to Obamerica
I know, I know, there are morons on both sides.....
(CNN) -- A Pennsylvania woman told police she was attacked at an ATM in Pittsburgh by a robber who became angry when he saw a John McCain bumper sticker on her car, a spokeswoman for the Pittsburgh Police Department said Thursday. Police cannot confirm whether a man attacked this woman because she had a McCain sticker on her car. Public Information Officer Diane Richard said police cannot substantiate her story, however, and the investigation is ongoing. Richard said the 20-year-old told investigators a man approached her Wednesday night at an ATM in the city's East End, put a blade to her neck and demanded money. She said she gave him $60 and stepped away from him, Richard said. She further stated the man "punched her in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground, and he continued to punch and kick her while threatening to teach her a lesson for being a McCain supporter," according to a police statement. The woman also told police her attacker "called her a lot of names and stated that 'You are going to be a Barack supporter,' at which time she states he sat on her chest, pinning both her hands down with his knees, and scratched into her face a backward letter 'B' on the right side of her face using what she believed to be a very dull knife." The alleged assailant fled on foot, Richard said. "We, the police, cannot substantiate this yet," she said. "This is what she told police." Don't Miss Police face cuts as economy falters The woman, who is from Texas, refused medical attention, Richard said, although she told the investigating officer she would see a doctor Thursday. There was no update on her condition, she said. Richard said the woman described her alleged attacker as a dark-skinned African-American, 6 feet 4 inches tall with a medium build and short dark hair, wearing dark clothing and shiny shoes. McCain spokeswoman Jill Hazelbaker told CNN that McCain and running mate Sarah Palin "spoke to the victim and her family after learning about the incident earlier this afternoon." Hazelbaker said the campaign would not offer more detail out of respect for the woman's privacy. The campaign of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama responded to the report with a statement saying, "Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice." "Police planned to administer a polygraph test to Ashley Todd, 20, because her statements about the attack conflict with evidence from the Citizens Bank ATM where she claims the incident occurred, police said." The black eye is horribly fake.
Lack of swelling. Also the "perpetrator sat on her chest and carved the B"? It looks like it took about 40 tries with a butter knife to get the "B" (regardless of being backwards) right. Jimmy you should be ashamed of yourself for posting this BS. |
Well all the above might be true fake or not.....but what surprizes me most is how a black guy who attacks white lady actually gets away. Sounds like a first to me or this is just plain fishy.

Police: McCain volunteer changes ATM attack story
© 2008 The Associated Press Oct. 24, 2008, 11:04AMShare — Pittsburgh police say a McCain campaign volunteer who reported being held down by a black man who then cut the letter "B" in her face has changed her story. Police also say bank surveillance footage doesn't show her at an ATM where she initially said she was attacked. Police spokeswoman Diane Richard says investigators gave the 20-year-old woman a lie-detector test and are "looking at some inconsistencies" in her story. The student, Ashley Todd, of College Station, Texas, initially said a black man robbed her at knifepoint near a bank Wednesday night and then cut her cheek after seeing a McCain sticker on her car. Todd, who is white, now says she was knocked unconscious and doesn't remember being cut in the face. She now says she only discovered the wound later. No arrests have been made. |

This reminds me of the story some time ago about a pre-Jerry Springer TV personality, Morton Downey Jr., AKA "The Mouth that Roared".
He claimed (during the waning years of his career) that he was attacked in an airport bathroom by Neo-Nazi/White Supremesists that carved a swastika onto his face/firehead. His story fell apart when EVERYONE but him realized that it was drawn BACKWARDS. Some people are destined for greatness, and others are just trailer-trash looking for attention. I hope they charge her for perpetrating a public hoax. |

The funny thing is when you posted this link, I and those who you would consider 'blind followers' of Obama knew immediately that this story was bogus.. I looked at her face and saw a backwards B and fake black eyes..
The difference is that the person who can look at something objectively and call a spade a spade and not be duped into believing crap like this is usually a democrat :hihi: |
Did my order of yellowcake uranium arrive yet...
