You say Toe-may-toe I say Toe-mah-toe. I thought we were playing Bridge...you bid one minister I bid 1 minister. I thought you said that a person should know who they choose to associate with. You said that you would never be put in the position of hanging out with someone who might reflect negatively on you. I guess McCain doesn't share that belief, huh |
Im giving you the chance, please tell me how McCain "associates" with Hagee? HAgee was never his minister, not did McCain go to his church.
Hagee endorsed McCain and he rejected it. Farrakan endorses Obama, as does Hezzbollah. |

"Yesterday, Senator John McCain said he was “very honored by Pastor John Hagee’s endorsement.” The Republican presidential hopeful also called Hagee “the staunchest leader of our Christian evangelical movement,” citing the minister’s pro-Israel stance." He rejected it after all hell broke loose when people found out what this guy was all about. |

Sorry, but what exactly did Rev. Wright do again that was so terrible?
Sure he's a bit wacky in some of his beliefs but he's been made out to be pure evil which I just don't get. -spence |
I HATE ignorance and racism more than anything in this world, period.
Wright leads (led) a RACIST church beleives the government created aids Called the United States, the US of KKK Is he evil? No. Is it a terrible tradgedy that the future president of the US was a follower of his? Beyond disgraceful to me. |
EVERY politician hangs out with questionable people during the course of their careers.....thats pretty much politics.
Obama did it.. McCain did it. That's my point....and if you think Your Guy doesn't and their Guy does then you're missing 1/2 the information Ever wonder WHY McCain doesn't harp on the Wright thing....maybe There's more to the Hagee thing than meets the eye and he doesn't want people poking around....Maybe there are some other skeletons in the closet. who Knows...only they do. |
that sad part is that we are discussing this here when we are looking a serious recession right in the face. Who the hell cares about all that stuff on both accounts. I care about who is best suited to get us out of this mess and that's Obama.
|
Dad, seriosuly, come on. TWENTY YEARS! Wright Baptised Obamas children!
A church is a CHOICE ! Obama chose that church. People CHOOSE churches based on their beliefs. I can't reply anymore, I can understand political differences but I can neverjustfy Obama and Wright. Dad, could you pull your cub scouts together and say lets see some footage inside of the church our president attended for 20 years? How would you feel doing that? Proud of our president? Can you be proud of Obama based on what saw with Wright? What message does that send to the future of America? |

so you believe a lawyer who never managed a budget in his life is best suited to get us out a financial mess? Amazing. |
Because McCain has never associated himself with people accused of breaking the law.
Well, there was that whole group of Senators involved with the Keating 5. |
no, I think a "tax and spend" democrat can fix this problem better than a let it trickle down from the top republican can (we are now seeing the results of that philosophy)
we could go on and on about deregulation supported by McCain and all, but that would take wayyy too long. |
