Not Too Many Like Today Left!

What a beautiful day today was! We will be throwing snow before too long so Joey G. and I hit a few spots today and found some slammer blues that were heavy on the feed! Not a bad way to enjoy the last of the season! After 4+ hours of beaching the blues we had to stop because our arms were hanging off!:fishin:

First pics are of Joe partaking in the day!

I love big blues....many can do without them but you can't beat blues this size!:tooth:

Sidenote: Anyone know the feller that swamped his new Ford truck in the wash today??? I wanted to know why the guy was driving below the high water line??? He was lucky to get his truck out before it floated.....fortunately the sand packed over his axles and it wasn't going anywhere!:smash:

That plug is way too sexy to be throwing to Blues. I'm right there with you though, I love catching them sometimes.

BigFish 11-01-2008 06:27 PM

I know they were blues and they will hit anything...and they were....but they were paying extra special attention to the "Rainmaker"! Popping action really seems to drive them insane!:laugha:

If they're hitting anything, I pull out my $4 Robert's Ranger.

But I don't have my own plug company to stock my bag with.:bshake:

I had to go to a wake today....

The blues were not keyed in on the rangers has they were on poppers.
I tracked these very large foot prints to find out it was Larry hauling two gators.
Nice to meet up with both Bigfish and Joe.

Yes there was some nice blues out there today I mostly used the ranger for the distance and the single hook makes life easier .That guy that got stuck must have had to flip a pretty high bill It took about 2 hours for that little tank to pull him out.
