Dust in the Wind
 

Got a reprieve from the family this afternoon and headed to Woods Hole to finally fish some spots I've been wanting to hit forever but never have the chance. Spot one is gorgeous but wind was tough so I ducked in on the leeward side and got skunked. No signs of activity there so I hiked out and got in the car to spot two. Totally protected from the wind and fished top water for over an hour and got one dink. Had some interest from some other dinks but that was it. I hit the canal on my way home and puss'd out after a few casts. I thought I heard some breaks but i never saw anything close. Some animal shreaked near me on the rocks and it scared the sh)87^%4#!
out of me for a second. I called it and just got home to turn the Pats on. It's probably over for me now. I'll winterize the skiff and dream of spring! Good year but it wasn't my best.
