strange......for all the adults earlier you'd think we'd be walking on them.

There are still adult ones around in multiple RI areas but haven't seen any peanutes all year.

There was one?

I haven't seen any in Conn. but I know that there have been years in the recent past where we haven't seen any and then the following year we have been loaded.

Buzzards Bay was amazingly void of them all year long. I wonder if all the jelly fish that were around had anything to do with it? You would think jelly fish are a pretty dangerous predator for them. Perhaps that means they went further north than normal and are still heading south? I don't know, but it was very strange this year.

Very few peanuts spotted this season.I can't believe the rain bait is still all over the place and the water temps are still warm.Lots of butterfish around in that peanut size the last couple of days.
