I changed the motor oil in my pick-up and wrangler today.While it was draining out into the pan it dawned on me that the friggin oil[10w-30] is $3.19 @ qt!!!!! Gas is going for less than$2.29@GALLON!!!!Is'nt gas refined OIL? WHAT THE ****.:humpty:

You have nothing to complain about @ 3.19 a qt.
Yamaha 4 stroke oil is over $5
I fixed a Saturn a few months ago, trans fluid was over $16 a quart !

i curious as to what makes oil more expensive than gas.That's my grump.

Auto zone - 6 qt Penn oil and a filter 20 buks on sale? It almost makes it a good deal when the Jeep dealer runs a special at 25 buks including a lube job. (Even though ya gotta watch the lube job)

look at the price of diesel- diesel costs less to refine than 87 octane, yet it is usually 40 cents more per gallon..... greedy azzholes. :hs:

same with home heating oil..right?? why the f*** did I just pay 2.99 a gal for that??
