Free Fall!
 

Just watched the Dow drop 150 points in 60 seconds!!!:doh:

150 points is not a free fall Larry. Don't sit and watch it because it will vary widely all day depending on who bought and sold what. I've seen it drop 150 points in alot less time than that.

Go make some plugs or something the world don't revolve around the stock market and it's not worth sitting worrying about it.

But over 400.......

400 points is only a bit over 5%.. thats no free fall. If it droped 20% in a day.. that is a free fall.

The stock in the company i work for is at 3 cents.:shocked:

My little nest egg stock GE has dropped from $36 a share down to $12......66% :wall: in the past month or so.

When the DOW tumbles like it has every day for a while now, why are they all smiles, cheering, and clapping at the closing bell at the end of the trading day?:huh:

Havent heard of any stockbrokers taking the express elevator down yet.

Nows a great time to have nothing :) . If you dont have anything , you cant really lose anything :) . Im glad i dont owe any credit cards money and have no car payment :) . The wife and I are just waiting for the market to bottom out before we start investing .

I'd be wary of trying to time the market unless you had a lot of extra scratch to loose.

Its down over 6000pts since October last year....:wavey:

There is nothing wrong though.....the fact its down by 50% in a tad over a year just signals a slowdown!:tm:
