turkey day in palaski
fished 2- 3 days last wknd w/ friends 4 steelhead trout all fish were about 8 to 14 lbs w/ a few browns and salmon as well .very late for salmon ,odd season.. first day we caught about 7 fish at school house pool area w/ flys.all big fish over 10lbs.it snowed on n off all day. next day we hiked in 25min to the elm tree run . at 715 al was on and i was on next . every 10 to 20 min some one would hook up by 930 we had 8 fish landed with many more lost on n gone . we stayed all day in the same area ,fish here ,fish there . at days end we counted 17 fish landed w/ about 28 fish on . most fish came on 1 type and color fly . all fish were c/r ..last day was great....i'm headed back soon.wife dont mine!!!
