Who likes using Mahogany?
 
I just took apart 300 feet of fencing that a friend dropped off for me. I have tons of 2x3x36 mahogany spindles. I'm going to start making needles and poppers as soon as the duplicator is hooked up. Does anybody like making anything else out of mahogany?

I use it for needles. Smells like crap when you turn it though.

bluestreak ,,,Atom 40 type swimming plug .. they made poppers too from mahogony

Yep, doing a decent size cabinet job right now with it.

I have made needles and poppers with it in the past

beautiful wood, very fine dust though

It makes good needles and a deep diveing swimmer. I made some pikes that would swim in the heaviest current

Mahogany covers a whole bunch of different woods, sort of like pine does.
Yes, different mahoganys for different things
