Very nice job!!!
|
Very nice for such a short time building. Now, how do they swim?
|
Welcome -- nice work and paint is well done. Best part is catching on your own wood..:walk:

They actually swim great. I test swam my first dannys and it worked awesome, its pretty close to a cct kit i bought so i made 12 or so. The spooks were good, but my needles sucked. I have to work on the weighting. I want to make them slow sinking. The poppers were pretty good, i found that cutting the popper face at an angle helped alot with the action and im going to add a small belly weight along with a large tail weight to keep the lure even.

your doing great
beautiful stuff...
bring something tasty to plugfest... |
Ill be at plugfest for sure, ill bring a bunch! cant wait!!!
|
Actually i had to cut them by hand because my bandsaw is out of wack. I have to figure out how to adjust it to cut straight. Without the bandsaw its hard to get them exactly the same, i agree they arent perfect.

thats cool, i guess we'll just have to talk about it at plugfest!:chased: Glad you like the paint. My paint skills are coming along faster then my woodworking skills.
|
good job kid:jump:
