looking for a vise

any one have any advise on a vise? i want something that i can tie some bucktail jigs on and some of the saiwash tail hooks and teasers i use. i don't want to break the bank on this one. i like the self-standing models better than the type that attatch to the table top as i have a few marks on the tables in my house from my previous vise! thanks.

Vise

Look in the Cabela's Catalog and you will find a vise called danvise.It's around $80:00,it may seem like a lot, but it,s worth every pennie. I've been through a lot of vises in my life and that;s the best for the money.As far as scratching the table top it has a special pad for that.
