Inset Eye Sockets

Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to make inset eyesockets. I have searched a couple of websites and a few books but noone seems to tell how they make oblong eyesockets or the ones that seem to be beveled from the front

The tear drop ones most do with an exacto knife

The others you can do with a router bit or a ball in your drill press. Just get the correct size to go with your eye size.

I use a Countersink bit like this and then just hit the edge with a little sand paper to soften the edges....

I drill mine first with a fostners to the size eye im using then use a 1" sandstone in the drill press and by hand work the lure around the sandstone bit until i get the look i like then a quick sand with sandpaper wrapped around my finger.
