TDF - You're always camping!
Sorry on the date TDF & GF - unfortunately we always have people that we want to go unable to :wall: Thanks Mike :btu: We'll work on what goes upstairs and what goes down stairs so we have a little sanity ;) . I thought last year if we had someone claustrophobic we were gonna loose 'em... |

Every Month....keeps me sane. Besides February's trip we have a cabin on a lake and are taking the boys out Ice Fishing. Not exactly roughing it....unless you count eating their cooking. Anyways, I've been lucky enough to make the last 3 so it was bound to happen sooner or later..... |
I felt bad for you last year Mike . Quite a mess at the end to clean up for you and your family . Some stayed and helped.. Should have a list of volunteers,, clean up crew , local ,Ma. guys probably.. I only live 45 minutes away . I'll volunteer to stay and help..
|
Thanks Mike!
Let me know if you need any help before or after... |
If I can make it I'll be happy to help out as well.

You can also learn more than you can imagine at a Plugfest. Not just plug building but fishing them also. Come you will enjoy it. |
may be time to make the roadtrip
|
There were plugs for sale last year.
|
Is this event for:
Selling? Buying? Trading? Discussing? Learning? Builders get tables? or Just a general get together for plug builders and everyone else interested in plugs and fishing etc?? All of the above? Would really like to go to one of these events. I started building about a year ago. Thanks |
Many builders display their work. Some swap, some sell a few, many admire.......its a great day of sensory overload! Lots of fun! There are many demonstrations on several facets of lure building. There are many displays of vintage antique lures. Then there is the pot luck buffet which has always been magnificent! Its the plug building social event of the season! Its open to all interested Ken J...there is a small fee at the door.

Here's how we did it last year. Friday morning drive to Stratford CT to pick up Woodbuster. We talk plugs in his shop lon enough to rest a bit. Then up to Buzzards Bay to Lindsey's for a fried clam dinner. Then we run over to the Days Inn in Middleborough to stay the night. Next morning a short run down 495 to the Fest. Home to NJ in the PM. This year I am hoping to include eel punt in the Jersey contingent. |
go Brian it will be fun, but a long trip. Maybe we can meet for a beer the nite before as I am like 2 or 3 miles from the Middleboro Days Inn. Last year I tired but couldn't make it to see Bill for a beer.
|
what time does this go til? Can't make it for 10, looking more like a later arrival if possible.
