"IN-LINE" treble hooks...what's the advantage?

Placing orders for hooks and I keep seeing "In-Line" treble hooks. They appear to have the eye of the hook lined up with one of the hooks. Why would you want that? Is it for fixed eye baits (ie no swivel) so the hook nests better on the body? From what I read they keep mentioning hook setting power but I don't see the advantage.

Also, Have you seen those trebles with the two normal hooks and the third hook is huge? I am thinking of trying them just for the hellofit.

In line hooks - the eye is rotated so that one hook points straight down when on the belly of a plug (when on a split ring). Also allows one to point straight up on the rear.

I'm not sure it isn't just hype, but supposedly it helps plugs track better at faster trolling speeds. Probably not really applicable for casting or slow trolling for stripers.

Does not matter when using swivels. It is used just for fixed hook hangers
