How many plugs are you bringing to the Plugfest

I just made the decision that I will be coming to the plugfest. I it will be nice to meet you guys on the plugbuilding forum. Just a question, some of you seem really really busy building right now. How many different plugs are you bringing with you to the fest? Do most guys swap with other people? Please let me know so i'm prepared! Thanks all!

BigFish 01-12-2009 05:50 PM

A couple!

luds 01-12-2009 06:54 PM

I'll follow those questions with one more. I posted this before but:

Is it poor form to bring in commercial pluggage and attempt to trade/ho builders?

There are a few guys here who make stuff that I admire and more importantly would like to fish. Hoping I could tempt them with some stuff I have. :devil2:

BigFish 01-12-2009 07:33 PM

Its all fair game Mike! All they can say is no thank you!

angler229 01-12-2009 07:49 PM

I'm hoping too have 20 or so total for swapping probably in 2 or 3 body styles. Then some other one off/prototype stuff for showing/discussing.

Mr. Krinkle 01-13-2009 08:14 AM

Good deal.

linesider69 01-13-2009 09:33 AM

Im not sure.I never set any numbers to what I turn. But I should have a few.

Dan I'll bring your plug to Plugfest as opposed to mailing it then.

ProfessorM 01-13-2009 10:28 AM

Not as many as previous years but I'll have a few. Just not as much time as last year, well as much time just poor use of my time. Luds cross your fingers I may even have a couple for you since I promised them 2 years ago.:deadhorse:

Mr K. just be advised that the pro hoers will treat you like fresh meat and take advantage of you so be forewarned .:laugha: They can smell a deal a mile away.

Sounds, good. I'm still not positive if I'm going to be able make it but if at all possible I'll be there.

Rookie! No bic pen can hold a candle to my beach dildo.

Rocco34520 01-13-2009 09:56 PM

I plan on attending but i cant make plugs yet. Is there any selling allowed on the side? Or is my money not good there?

ProfessorM 01-14-2009 12:53 AM

There is some discrete back room, parking lot, dealings now and then.

Rocco34520 01-14-2009 03:55 PM

Im not looking to do this if it is frowned upon. Just i dont got anything to trade, only money and i know it will be hard.

Isn't the real question you have "How many am I gonna walk out with?"

Trying the reverse-psychology thing, Mr. Krinkle? I like it. :rotflmao:

ProfessorM 01-15-2009 10:13 AM

I've sold a few here and there over the years. Just not my intention when i go but I have done it if the person is real persuasive. I usually first ask why though:bl:

numbskull 01-15-2009 12:21 PM

Don't believe that sob story. He went home with plenty, just none of his own.

nightfighter 01-15-2009 12:45 PM

I'm going to miss it this year... Plum Island event the same day, and I offered up a bed to Zeno, who is one of the speakers, so I will drive north that day. A week later is TFCTFN, so will be southbound the 28th.

Too bad having two quality events the same day....
