Nice country.Where my I ask? I'm looking for some land out in the western part of the state and the more I see the better.
beautiful scenic area. Turkeys are that abundant around here too.
wow that a lot turkeys!
they are sooo lucky it is not turkey season anymore
And I bet they roost in those pines.
I bet ya won't see them like that come the end of April, beginning of May.:nailem:
There are a ton around me, too.
area
The mountain in the background of the last pic there is a big white pine area thats where they usually roost. The big problem is most of that Mt is privately owned and they dont allow hunting .Bigger problem are the coyotes. In march i have to stop feeding as the bears like to destroy my feeders. I am at the foot of the Berkshires behind the Mt is Blanford which is Rt 23 .Great area for any wildlife makes a long winter a little more enjoyable.
i grew up in Worthington. Been to Blanford many times. Do they still ski up there?
ski club
Blanford ski club is still there they have snow making machines now and from what i here they are doing well this year
I bet thats good hunting right there.
