Don't think Kennedy needs the pay. While there's a lot I don't agree with regarding his politics, he does have a good reputation among both sides of being a good Senator.

Long overdue. And yes, there should be term limits for senators. The big downside of course is they could do more damage as lobbyists.

He is against the wind farm and barak included wind power in his speech, maybe that pushed him over the edge?

Are you two dopes serious? He killed a woman. Period. End of story. He then ran, hid and lied about it. He avoided prosecution his entire life for a crime he did commit.

You can champion his voting record and glorious life as a senator as long as you want. Bottom line is he murdered a girl, deal with it.

I've always admired the guy's tenacity despite his voting record and checkered past. Kind of like Jim Carville(tenacious), only much more civilized.
