paint question
 

I started my winter reel repair and cleaning and noticed a few spots where corrosion had gotten under the paint. I wire brushed the bubbles off and it is down to a clean surface. What kind of paint should I use to do touch ups ?

hard as nails maybe if it is tiny?

I have been thinking a similar question about the spool on my Shimano Spheros, the spool is pitted in a few places and I am not sure whether to leave it alone or go at it... I was going to simply use rust paint and some auto wax on top
