Gas Pumps Malfunction
I was pumping gas today at this dump of a station. I had the gun on and filling the tank, the little lever was engaged inside the pump handle. The one that turns the pump off automatically when it is full.
Things were okay until the tank was full then the gun flew out of the fill and sprayed fuel all over me. I went to the both and told the flunkie and she smiles at says that happens all the time. Here's an idea why don't you fix it!! Not my station she says. I gave her my card and asked her to have the owner call me in the next hour or I will report the station to the state lic board. I was f-ing soaked on gas, pants shirt face. I would have liked to wring her fing neck. Missed an appointment because I had to go home and shower and put new clothes on. idiots. :zup: |
Did you pay at the pump, or at the booth?
Although there would be EPA famifications, what if the pump kept pouring gas, say, while the person at the pump stepped away for a moment? Would she be as "concerned" about losing her job? Some people just don't "get it"! |
booth. They guy never called so I called the state and DEM.

Crap like this is exactly why the "Biggest Problem with Society" thread exists.
Good for you on calling the state. Usually, those stations are required to have a corporate number available and it is typically on the window of the booth. |
It is against the fire code in Massachesetts to have those auto-triggers on gas pumps. Call the state Fire Mashalls office and make their life miserable - like they made yours that day :eek5:
