Clear coat

Anyone ever use a product Pelucid by Por-15?

Oh yes!!!!
Several years ago. In fact I have an unopened can if you want it.

Not a bad clearcoat, but it is very nasty stuff.......highly toxic!!

Bernzy, this stuff holds up well with 2 coats? A body shop guy pointed me to it for wood. He will spray it for me in his booth if I get the product? Sounds like not something you would want to use around the house.

Glisten works better but beware, like Bernzy said:skulz::skulz::skulz::skulz::skulz:

Their are a bunch of great top coats out there unfortunately you need to spend a boat load of money on the safety and operating equipment which make it totally not worth it for the hobby builder.Careful as when its good it usually has the XXX danger and skull and crossbones decal attached.

I've got a 1/2 pint of it in my shop. You are welcome to it if you want to try it before buying a bunch.

I used it for a while- its great but fickle.. I sprayed some over yellow and it peeled off like dead skin..

The ad said it was for interior wood. May not hold up long in our environment.
