Haven't seen them before but they make drags for offdhore reels don't they?

I have Paul the Reel Man up in Boston telling me about certain Shimano Calcutta Dartanium drags fitting a 6500 Mag E. I might give that a shot this year or just trim up another set of HT-100s. They're a little frayed now :kewl:

hmmm, let me know about the shimano drags on the mag. i have smoothies on mine now, but i'm always looking for more ways to modify my reels!

I'll let you know when I get the details. But they are more money - something like $20 for a set -v- $6 for the HT-100s that you must trim. Also, because the HTs must be trimmed, they do frey a bit and probably won't last as long as the dartaniums...

Hey Saltheart - did Smokey use that Mag E much this year?
