GOOD SPORT "What Goes Around Comes Around"

I find more than often, Fisherman I know are more apt to be ... lets say, not to friendly to other fishereman, Im not saying give up
you 're best fishing hole or guide them to the fish, more like if you are on some breaking fish and the boats come over and start fishing where you are not to be too aggravated about it. Some of my buddies get very upset when other boats take advantage of our good fortune to the point where it almost ruins there day.
I try to explain to them that I would do the same thing as long as they are not interfearring with my casting or coming to close to us while in the middle of a catch not to disturb the swarm of the fish. (have some consideration for your fellow fisherman!) As we all know it's only human nature to go where the fish are at. So if we all kept that in mind we all would have a better time on the water. So let's all have a better attitude on the water because we are all in this together! So just remember "what goes around comes around"!

Good topic

We all have so much invested in fishing, it is easy to let expectations get out of hand, become frustrated and angry. Happens when you were hoping to have the fish all to yourself, happens when good info goes bad, happens when things break, when conditions aren't what you expected and (worst of all) when everything else in your life seems wrong and you need a fish to escape it and it doesn't happen.

Redlite said it best......."don't fish angry". A good creed I think.

Don't go to Montauk on a fall weekend.

Problem is not everyone thinks like this. I've seen some stupid moves in Dux bay with yahoos cutting through your drift, getting too close to your boat, etc. to keep an open mind. I like to help people but not the idiots looking for free and fast advice or tips that took me a long time to figure out. There are some good people out there though and it's nice to share tips and reports with people that know what to do with good information. You get to know who the good ones are. I'll try but can't promise that I won't let it bother me when I see something stupid out there.
