Found Stimpson Tail Grommets!!
 

A friend has an account with Stimpson and has ordered Stimpson model # D4862 tail grommets. He's asking $30 per thousand plus shipping (priority mail is under 5 bucks). 1000 pc. minimum, 5000 max. He's picking them up around 2/1/03. Anyone interested?

any idea as to the id of the hole an the od of the flange, I think there r two sizes of tail grom. If my source doesn't come through I'd b very interested, should know soon.

Those look familiar:hihi: Remember to save me some! I think the ID is about 0.09 and the flange diameter is about 0.40.

Grommet Dimentions:
Flange: .500
Under flange to tip of post: .250
Tube Diameter: .127

Looked at a lot of these in the past few months, these were the best. Flange is large, but not too big for needles, not too small for big swimmers and is flat, no recess at all. Post length is just right, holds well in thru wire hole.

Do you have just the one size? or is there a smaller size also?

Slip, That's all he's got. They're being picked up at stimpson late this week or early next. I'm not sure yet if If he's sending them to me for you guys or if he'll ship them directly to you. I'll let you all know when I know for sure.
