NOT true. In my 30+ years in the industry, I've NEVER seen a glass guy clean up all the glass ! Never seen 1 glass guy remove the sail/ interior panels or seats where the glass ends up. Not many of them vacuum all glass out of a door. Sure, they will clean up most of what you see. No big deal to most people if they don't see it, especially ins appraisers who won't pay the needed time to remove seats and necessary interior parts, But for the most part, who sits in the rear seats. KIDS And kids like to stick their hands down some of those areas. The worst situation is a smashed windshield ! Windshields don't explode like door and rear auto glass. they splinter and lots of times the splinters end up down the defrost vents. Not a nice situation when someone turns on the fan for defrost ! |
my boss will never use a car wash again either, had one eat up his mercedes slk600 amg, two weeks after he got it, took the body shop 4 weeks to fix it and the it still had to go to the dealer to have the side mirror fixed because the body shop guys couldn't figure it out
