Here's a little good news for those so concerned about our dependence on foreign oil.

so they say it is recoverable....but is it economical to do so?

sure it is....
 

when you consider one of the reasons we desire stability in the middle east is so we can continue to import their oil.....
and.....
not having to be so concerned with that ....
would free up allot of money for extraction methods
to make it worth it...

at least that's how i see it.... :cool:

Use it as a bridge towards a (reduced) carbon-less economy. Don't just dump it into the open market :wall:

I couldn't agree more John. As long as we do it with fore thought. An example of the government screwing it up is ethonol. Why when we introduced 10% ethonol into fuel we didn't see a 10% reduction in gasoline consumption? Because it's 10% less efficient. Stupid, self centered people setting the agenda.
