CHINESE MADE DRYWALL
they have shipped us some crap before
but this takes the cake.... it's so loaded with sulfer that not only does it STINK it corrodes anything copper in your house and cause all kinds of health issues so anyone building with drywall better watch out i don't know if it's sold locally or not yet next trip to homies i'm gonna ask and you should too http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/03/18/chi...all/index.html |
:hs:
it's really getting bad :( if we were smart as a country, we would halt all imports from China |
i agree
they simply are not getting the message`
send the friggan NAVY out to sea with inspectors to turn their nasty product laden ships back to port :hs: |
Why are we importing drywall from China???? And what fools are buying it????:smash::smash:
|
the fools...........
are now embroiled in class action lawsuits so what is being done with all the polluted sheet rock once it's removed from all these homes is it going into our landfills? should it go on some great big barge and return to china? i wonder if a laboratory has tested it for other contaminants? |
Probably full of melamine!:biglaugh:
|
so um....
think about this
how are computers and anything else with copper surviving in their houses not very well i'd imagine  |
and
are American sheet rock companies suddenly
going to raise their prices because their competitors product is totally inferior and price gouge us let us know if you see that LARRY |
Since China owns us (US) does it matter?
|
The companies that distribute it are as much to blame. In china , they will continue to upgrade a product until their customer says its OK then starts to buy it. They do not make the best possible product , they make the product that just meets the customers demand. Nobody is buying drywall directly from china for their home. It goes through 1 or more middle men. If the middle men/distributers or resellers don't specify the quality sufficiently , they are to blame. The chinese make it to the importers satisfaction , not the end users.
Now in the case where fraud is involved , like with the milk , when the crap hits the fan , someones neck gets stretched in China. The chinese are not at all interested in making the best possible product regardless of cost. They make the cheapest product that meets the customers specifications. So if you are ordering from China , be careful that you specify every single thing you want. Don't assume they will know you meant something you didn't specify. Also you need to be very clear in your language. If you say I want a cool looking bike , they will make you a bike that doesn't look so hot! :) |
then if that's the case
the builders down south with the class action lawsuits
being thrown at them can in return sue the distributors for selling them a hazardous product can't they? |
I don't know. I woulkd hope so. I was just letting people know how they think and what they do in China.
