That bait you wanted me to duplicate in color for the CT river striper run is somewhere in the middle of all this. http://www.ledgerunnerbaits.com/bubbleyum.jpg Makes me want to dig out some baseball cards and start trading. Bubblelicious, let me know if that's what you want and what you need. I poured up 6-1/2" half jerks, 9" big jerks and both sizes of grubs. By the way I have a booth at the Marine USA show in Worcester on March 15th & 16th, so swing by and save on the shipping:). Then again the following weekend at MSBA show, so I can't fish two weekends in a row:(.

Very nice

I need some of those 6.5'' jerks. Can you dip the heads in olive green:D Those would fly down here in May. WAY MORE durable than the wimpy Sluggo.

I can do 2 layers, but heads & tails with two colors isn't possible; not unless you can rewrite the rules of physics and gravity:). Spike-It is available from Bass Pro Shops in the following colors as of their 2003 catalog; chartreuse, lime, blue, orange, hot pink, and fire red. It's available in a dip and marker, so you can play with anyone's plastic as far as head/tail colors go.

Bob-

Looks good enough to eat.

I'd hate to use those in NY waters...the bluefish would be all over them!

GS, any chance your working on a minnie-me bubblegum jerk? When the worms are going, I sometimes find the 4" too-soft name-brand-good-for-one-fish plastic too big, with the 3" just right

Scotch YOu really don,t want that color/////////////////////////////

Scotch Bonnet 01-08-2003 11:49 PM

Bill - the nice thing is he can do CUSTOM baits for you :D - you want it, he can likely do it!

FWW - try them when the blues aren't around

I can do them in the 4" Little Jerks, I don't really have any of my "own" designs smaller, although I know I have a 2-1/2 slug mold somewhere around that would probably be killer when the worms hatch. I can market it however, well I might be able to, but I'm not taking chances.
