A few stats that always amaze me!

Nolan Ryan never won a Cy Young award! Yet in 1974 he pitched 2 no hitters, struck out 384 batters (a new record) and lost the award to Jim Palmer!

Steve Carleton won 27 games for a Phillies team that only won 59 games all season in 1972!

Jim Palmer never gave up a Grand Slam!
