Sugarbowl and what is it?
 

Can anyone tell me what does a sugarbowl on the Castle Isle look like?

Just to the west of Castle Island itself is a large circular salt pond inside a long round jetty wall that encloses the pond. There are two gated on it for the water to come in & out... It's right along the road as you enter the parking lot to CI...

Fish the outgoing at the outflow into the bay..

growing up in roxbury as a youngster!!!! the prairie was a stadium type football feild and the sugar bowl was another feild along morrisey blvd i didnt think it had to do with water but i might be wrong the red raiders used to play there if some of you old timers from boston remember them semi pro team!!!!:smash: :smash:
