Cool show on lures and plugs and how they swim.

Missed that episode....he just caught a 4' Gator on topwater....I would have let him keep the plug.

By the Way...the lure episode is on again at 11....followed by the gator episode at 11:30 :shocked:

the last few weeks about lures have been very cool

The guy is like McGeyver when it comes to plug building. It also looks like the rod will be ripped from his arms at any second when he has a fish on.

The one i watched today was pretty cool. It was about using spinners for big muskys.

He's the BEST!!!!!!!! Friday night and the Versis channel has become a routine.

I upgraded my FiOS to HD and Now I get WFN 24/7 Fishing channel....any time any day fishing and more fishing.

We don't have fios around here, bums me out

the wife and i have dish network,what is the anagram for he versis channel?sound like a great show all i can find is the infisherman,which is cool but versis sounds a little better

The guy really knows his stuff.
He makes Charlie Moore and Tred Barta really look like idiots.
I have a book "Advanced Freshwater Fishing Strategies" that has a section on smallmouth bass featuring him as the expert. It gives a little of his fishing history: His dad had him fishing when he was 4, got his fitst paid guide gig at 11, has a numebr of flies named after him.
I like his no-nonsense, honest approach to fishing.
No "re-living old tales of glory, no bragging about all his many accoplishments (like Barta), no comical hijinks and buffoonery (like Moore).
This guy just plain knows how to fish, and isn't afraid to pass on his knowledge.
