Steve Morse
Not sure we covered him but he is worth more and I know of one person who will agree

These 2 show Steve's country side. Every note is picked, no hammering for him

His classical side. Can't beat a schooled musician.

Just plain great stuff. Not much he can't do. Wish there was more variety on the tube to show how versatile he is

Remember the Dixie Dregs anyone?
|
These guys. Seen them several times in intimate settings, I know that sounded weird, but I am.

Steve likes to keep himself busy! I think he followed Metheny out of Miami (The U). Must be one hell of program they had down there. I tend to prefer his Dregs mode myself.
|
Moe Down was country. Dregs style country anyways. Gave Steve a little room to step out here and there.
|
plus he quit music for a few years to become a comm. pilot. Talent galore.
|
I don't think quiting would deminish his talent. You would probably have to chop off a bunch of fingers in his case.
|
Yes if he quit for a decade he would still be fantastic. I should have said he didn't play while flying aircraft. When you are that good you don't quit at anything.
