http://www.shorelinebt.com/id20.html
This is a link to some pics and info in the Norris Jet Squid. Any info available on weight (if any) and location in the plug body. I was planning on making a few this weekend. chris |
Can't help you with the Norris, sorry, but thanks for posting that link. I'd seen it before but forgotten about it. There is a lot of good info on that site.

Maybe Capesams, Steve, will chime in as he has made some beauties in the past. I have a beautiful one he made.
If you scan down page here, 4th from the bottom, you can see one of his. You may just want to send him a PM. He really isn't that grumpy http://www.shorelinebt.com/id37.html Also Biteme, Jim, may also be able to offer you some info too. |
I posted a picture here somwhere of a few I made a moth or so ago... I put a tail weight in the probiscus and a belly weight just forward of the rear hook, just my own guess, but they swim as well or better than any spook I have made..

I just checked someone else Noris and I see THREE
Two in the head and one behind the head :musc: I will check mine when I get home and let you know VB |
checked mine, one i can't see any and the other has 2, one in the head the other is in the neck, hope this helps.
Back in the day their was no quilty control ...LOL |
thanks VB and Rockfish.. I will try a few diff weighting schemes and see how they fish. My sister has a house on the Cape and JB Norris built it. I wonder if it is the same Norris family.
