OTW Butterfly Jigging

Anyone catch the epsiode this week where they went out with the First Light Crew. Great walk throughs on the shimano butterfly jigging method.
Got me pretty excited hearing that drag scream....:humpty:

Watched it 2X already and saved to my DVR. I've got the jigs and needed to see the motion to understand the action.

good show. The west coast style of jigging is alot easier on the back and arms than the japanese style of jigging. Kilsong at the Canyon Runner show did an awesome job of explaining and demonstrating the finer points of both styles and really turned it into an artform. Jigging for SBFT's is one fun but tiring day on the water.

the jig and and crank on the down looks alot less tiring that the ferocious speed jigging i was doing last year. kr what is the west coast style? not sure if i saw that ep?

Still waiting to see that episode. However I did catch one this weekend off the DVR where they were fishing in the Canyons on a 28 Carolina Classic. I almost spilled my coffee when I saw them using a harpoon for 50 pound Yellowfin.....what the F#&**#?
