Striper Cup Weigh Stations
Closest to Marblehead is at least a 40 minute drive.
No more weigh station on Cuttyhunk........ |
Ask your favorite bait and tackle shop about becoming a weigh station as there are none in the area, chances are he will become one as it has a high probability of bringing more fishermen into his shop.
Going through the list it looks about half as many as last year. Maybe some shops are just dusting off the cobwebs and have not signed in yet? The Boaters World Locales will put a gap in there to be filled..
OTW needs to do a better job at getting the stores signed up, because believe it or not Surfland wasn't even a weigh station in 07
ross, Ippi's Bait and Tackle in Lynn isn't too far from you, maybe 20 minutes. not great, but not too bad.
a general question here, is there a leader board on the web or other, that you can check to see how big the monthly leaders' fish are? I dont want to kill any more fish than needed and I havent gotten any emails back from on the water regarding this subject
any info would be helpful |

ok that makes no sense! unless surfland is persona non grata with them, but I don't think they are!
Surfland IS on the list, and has been since I started looking at it. Ippi's is a new addition, and much closer to me. (probably as close as the Danvers BW was last year.)
Glad to here that....makes things easier
Is there any work on where Striperfest will be this year?
Try living in Western MA during the run up the CT River. I think I have to drive all the way to River's End. Around a three hour round trip for me.:ss:
Westport Marine is an official weigh station but is not up on their website.
