WTT Garmin etrex for a conventional rod

I have this Etrex it's brand new. I picked it up over a long boring winter. I know I'm not going to use it. I'm looking for a 1 piece 10ft conventional to drift eels with since my 10 footer mysteriously got a good foot knocked off of it and is too stiff and casts like crap.
