Chris perfect Steve and I will go on my boat and you and Jeff can go on yours.
Then Steve and I wont listen to any arguing.

Off to the claw tomorrow to see what we can find if the weather is doable.

We might make a run this week.

I've been hearing lots of blue dogs.... been hearing mako/threashers mike?
sounds like very small YFT at the edge...
rather have a shot at a mako...

Bryan, Makos have been few and far between and mainly small ones 100-200 pounds. Lots of big threshers being caught off of Long Island. Last weekend's Star Island tourney had threshers in the first three places. This weekend's Montauk Marine Basin tourney had big threshers in the top two places. Other tournies on LI this weekend also were won by big threshers. Also hear of some bluefin caught out near the horns.

Making a run out tomorrow haven't talked area w/ tautog01 yet, but there will be green machines on the boat...
not good enough weather/reports for an edge run...

the thresher thing has been the word... I haven't heard of 1, either first or second hand Mako

Never went. My friend didnt like the forecast and called late Saturday night.

I know someone who got a 433-pound thresher south of Block last week.

heard of a 233 thresher taken about 17 miles south of block yesterday.

If you're talking o me the answer is no. By the wat, that should have been 233 in my last post.

WEnt out today for day one of the Shark tourny,,,Im beat and gotta get up early so I'll make it short,,fisrt fish on thresher wraps himself up and snaps off,,,Had over a dozen blue sharks pulled in some small 100 pound ones and my spinning gear for some fun,,,biggest one was a mere 200....LETS GO MAKO's come out come out from wherever you are.
