If you don't mind paying more, also check out 88 supermarket in Brighton (it's to the left of BU) or a chinese restaurant w/ a live seafood tank. They'll charge you by the pound instead of each though :-P

I think we mentioned this on this site, but #^&#^&#^&#^& who runs Arlington B&T was in a horrible accident about a month or so ago (he was hit by a drunk driver in front of his shop while crossing the street), while he is recovering his family is running the shop, so give them a call as the hours may vary.

thanks guys. Sorry about the Arlington B&T owner.... Super 88 is one block form my office.........I forgot about that option. I bought some macs there last year.

Don't waste your time with Fore River. They'll give you small eels and an explanation as too why their better. The other day it was "You don't need to be able to cast. The majority of striped bass are caught withing 15 ft. of shore."

just popped into arlington yesterday. still open, regular hours. closes at 6. i told the guy working i wanted big ones for rigging so he took me downstairs to the tank and let me pick em.

arlington b&t is has eels. its my shop of choice when it comes to bait. They keep the fattest worms in the city.
