while i accept the fact that we all need to learn
mathematics, english, and science in school
to have a well rounded education

i also firmly believe that individual creativity is
not encouraged enough and more often than not
it is discouraged....

Prolly kids. You work with them and you know how stuff just
comes into their mind sometimes and they just do it without thinking.

No excuse, it stinks.

Kids just out of school. Staying up late, parents go to bed and the kids sneak out. Have called the cops twice in the last month for kids vandalizing the neighborhood. 5 arrests so far on destruction of property. Fun to sneak after them and grab them in the act.

Agreed. This country's mentality of the village raising my child is getting ridiculous. I appreciate the states that are holding the parents of children who commit crimes responsible.

Video games made my kid take all my guns to school, Grand Theft Auto made my kid steal a police car and go on a joy ride, watching MTV is why my daughter has slept with a dozen people and is only 14 - all things that I've seen/read in the news before.

How about "I'm a terrible parent and don't take any interest in what my children are doing with their lives and don't provide any structure or discipline"?
