Spooling with Braid, tape?, what kind is best?

I have many reels with braid, however, they are large capacity 60-series reels and I put about 1/2 mono then braid. For my 40 series reels that I want to spool up with braid, I want all the capacity I can get as I troll for Bonito with them as well.

What kind of tape is best, just plain old duct-tape?, how about that Atomic/Rescue tape I have?

Just one wrap around the spool?

Thanks in Advance

I use electrical tape . I am sure duct tape will work, what doesn't it work on?

I would prefer electrical tape as well as it will/would leave less residue in the future. Thanks.

I concur with the other 2. I've used electrical tape without any problems.
