I am selling my Boat, I can't find the title for the trailer

when you register your trailer/car does the registry keep the title?

or have I miss placed it?

you'll have to purchase a copy from the registry i believe.

Registry keeps the Title is what I was told when I registered mine as I asked and they still took it. Simple bill-of-sale for transfer to next owner.

In Ma you can just register it as homemade. I've registered a couple that way. My buddy also has.

Under 3000lbs. does not get title
