I am going to try and get out and do some striper fishing this week, and i was wondering if anyone has had any luck with busting blues or striper action at all? Mabe i will just make the trip to vinyard sound.

Water Temp is 71 at the mouth of the bay

I was out yesterday up near from the mouth of the canal by the maritime all the way to bird island, didn't see any feeding frenzy under any birds, only saw small tiny bait up inside. schoolies were the only thing we had other than a seabass. atleast I didn't get skunked. water temp about 72-73 degrees. didn't even see bluefish
try cooler waters

I went out today on the sound .nice day but a dead zone saw one swirl no birds , dog days are here .

Upper B-Bay has been very quiet as of late.
