P.I. 8/7/09
 

My first day off inWEEKS headed to P.I. arrived at 5:30 only 3 cars in the parking lot all were standing by the rip, so Iheaded out to the POINT as always NOT A SOLE around 3 boats out front an 1. in the river wind was blowinnnn so I fished the SURF. threw everything I had in my bag an NOTHING not s fish to be found. around 7.30 meet up with one of the old timers that usualy shows up an talked to him. he said it's been DEAD, a lot of the regulars have QUIT. an are wating till SEPT when they move back down. heres a few pic of what it was like at 8:00 that morning just me, an a lone gull. at HIGH TIDE more boats were out at the mouth, as soon as the rip started, but didnot see any fish caught.
